Located in the center of Portugal, the Maria Gomes village is a historical village wrapped in an undescribable wild paradise.
Traditional schist houses, a view over the Cabril dam and river beaches two steps away, visiting the festival is worth not just for the music but for the actual place itself.
Affected by desertification, as many countryside villages, it remains full of life and will host the festival in a joint effort by INDUSTRIAL PT and local organizations to bring different sounds and experiences to the Portuguese coutryside.
How to get there
- Train to Coimbra or Covilhã; Bike to Maria Gomes (about 80km, trains at CP, usually no charge for bikes)
- Bus from anywhere in Portugal to Pampilhosa da Serra; Hitchhike or walk to Maria Gomes (about 10km), buses at Rede Expressos)
- Car, use a GPS on coordinates
